Why I Became A Hypnotherapist

Tim Raja is a certified Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, Performance Coach and Master NLP Practitioner.

Having spent 25 years working at senior manager level in the corporate sector, Tim noticed a common trend within the younger members of the workplace.

These young staff members seemed to share mental issues that spanned from anxiety, depression, to a basic loss of joy for life.

Being a father of four daughters and two of them having social anxiety, Tim became more invested in how to help fight against these ailments, for personal and empathic reasons.

After extensive study and research, Tim found out that the quickest and most effective way to solving issues that plague most of society was through the use of Hypnotherapy.

Deciding that he’d rather help people than focus on company sales goals, Tim took part in industry leading training to be a Hypnotherapist and Master NLP Practitioner, to meet his personal and professional ambitions of being a force for good within modern society.

Noticing first hand how issues can affect a person, Tim truly understands how difficult it can be to manage ailments whilst trying to remain a productive member of society.

Through Hypnotherapy, he knows he can make fundamental changes to peoples lives. Each successful case brings him happiness, knowing that his work will help a person achieve a greater version of themselves to take on life at their full potential.

Tim is a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, which is the professional association for therapists in the United Kingdom.  He adheres to all the codes of conduct and subscribes to the continual professional developmental training when available.

As well as one-to-one sessions in person or online, Tim works with groups offering workshops and motivational performance based programs, influencing teams to reach their maximum potential.

I Believe That Hypnotherapy Is The Quickest And Most Effective Method To Treating Mental Health Issues

Before I became a Hypnotherapist, I wanted to help the next generation, and generations to come, with their mental health issues. Hypnotherapy is quick and precise method of achieving positive lifestyle changes. I have trained extensively to deliver this method to help those who are in need.

I Will Always Champion People Who Wish To Seek Help

Seeking help in itself is a daunting task for those with mental health issues. I will always respect a person for admitting that they need help and use every tool available to me to help facilitate change for the good.

I cannot recommend Tim enough. His calming tone of voice relaxed me instantly. Tim helped me overcome
procrastination and achieve a goal I doubted possible plus gain valuable insight into myself.


Living with arachnophobia can be quite debilitating. I would panic just from seeing a spider, or even touching a spiderweb. After a couple of sessions with Tim, I can now be in nature and not worry anymore, seeing a spider in my house is not an issue either.

Tim is very dedicated, professional and has a very soothing voice. I felt completely safe to let Tim help me. Hypnosis has transformed my fear. Thank you Tim.
